On Saturday October 11th, All God’s Children United Methodist Church celebrated the grand opening of Little House, Big Heart, a new community outreach initiative aimed at providing essential items and support to those in need. The event took place in the parking lot of The Place of Possibilities in Aulander and attracted more than 30 attendees from across the community.

During the event, guests received free coats and blankets—just in time for the cooler weather. Toiletries and other necessities were also made available at significantly reduced prices, ensuring accessibility for individuals and families facing financial challenges. To make the day even more special, bagged lunches were handed out to everyone who attended.
“Little House, Big Heart is an expression of God’s love. We are honored to serve our community,” said Laura Early, Senior Pastor at All God’s Children UMC.
The outreach doesn’t stop there. Little House, Big Heart will continue serving the community every Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The location is 1144 Hexlena Rd., Aulander, NC.
