The Little League Softball® World Series returns for the fifth year from August 3 – 10, 2025 at Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park in Greenville!
To kick off this year’s tournament, the public is invited to come out to the Opening Ceremony & Celebration on Saturday, August 2nd from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM being held this year at Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park, due to planned construction on the Greenville Town Common bulkhead. Please join our community to help us welcome the players, coaches, umpires, families, media, and more to Greenville-Pitt County!
Troy Dreyfus, Executive Director of the Downtown Greenville Partnership, will be the Emcee for the event. Beginning at 6:00 PM, there will be team, athlete, & umpire introductions on the field. Local Dignitaries will speak, and then the 2025 LLSWS Ceremonial First Pitch will be thrown out.
After the ceremony, the celebration will include food trucks, games, activities & more in the designated Fan Zone as well as in and around Stallings Stadium on Elm Street.
Free parking for the public will be available in the ECU College Hill parking lot with shuttle service running along the Greenville Greenway to Stallings Stadium and back. Shuttle service on the greenway will from from 5:00 – 6:00 PM, and then from 6:45 – 8:00 PM.
This year’s tournament will feature 12 teams from across the United States, Asia-Pacific, Canada, Europe-Africa, and Latin America. Admission is free, and all games will be broadcast on the ESPN platforms, including ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPNews, and ESPN+, with the final championship game on August 10 being shown on ABC again this year.
