Thanks to my publisher and friend Ken Morgan for this platform , so we can continue to provide you with informative strategies to help you navigate our toxic environment. I will be posting recalls primarily from FSIS (Food Safety Inspection service) , and the FDA. Of course, If I spot something pertinent to our subject matter, I’ll bring it to your attention.
Interesting what’s happening with herbicides , particularly Glyphosate and Diquat. Glyphosate was the primary ingredient in Roundup before it was replaced by Diquat. The manufacturer of Glyphosate,”Bayer”, who purchased it from Monsanto, who were the original manufacturers. and are identified as defendants in multi-million lawsuits primarily for Glyphosate toxicity.
Diquat has replaced Glyphosate in the United States formulations which raises another set of questions. Here’s what I’ve found on Diquat. Diquat generates reactions that damage DNA,proteins and cell membranes, and accumulation leads to irreversible organ damage even at low doses.
It appears that Diquat is at least as toxic as Glyphosate so the question is what motivated the change in the Roundup formulation.
