Show off your flavorful creations at the Canning Contest during the Camden Heritage Festival. Whether it’s jam that tastes like summer or pickles with the perfect crunch, we want to see and celebrate what you’ve made.
When: Saturday, September 20th, 2025
Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bring your best jars and your Camden pride, and you might just find yourself going home with the “Best in Show”!

- Fruits and Vegetables
- Pickles/Relish
- Preserves, Jams & Conserves
Age Groups:
- Youth (ages 8-19)
- Adult (ages 20-64)
- Senior (ages 65 & up)
Entry Information:
- Entry Fee: FREE
- Awards: “Best in Show” awards will be given to the winners of each category. Winners will be announced and showcased on the main stage of the Camden Heritage Festival!
- Submission Deadline: Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15th at the Camden County Extension Office, 120 NC HWY 343 N, Camden, NC 27921.
